A few kind reminders…
• I want you to be 100% satisfied with the product you receive from us. That being said, we ship STARTER plants (sometimes in bloom), but most are a couple weeks from blooming size. Shipping them young keeps shipping costs down (more bang for your buck with less box weight!), and allows the plants to adjust better to your environment.
• I love to chat about plants, but no longer give out my phone number because I just don’t have the time to talk hours on end anymore. I’m reachable by email at [email protected] for any and all questions! Please give me 24 hours to respond, as I am probably chasing down a toddler while typing my response…sometimes those emails turn into drafts 😬
• THE ADDRESS YOU CHECK OUT WITH IS THE ADDRESS I WILL SHIP TO. If you accidentally enter the wrong information, please email and I will CANCEL the order and you will need to repurchase. This protects both parties from potential fraud. I will no longer be manually changing ‘ship to’ addresses.
• I try to keep my shipping costs fair- but no, I cannot ship 12 plants to you for $5….I sure wish it was 2007 and I could ship priority mail for that. My shipping costs are the going priority mail rate by weight and your location. And yes, that can increase throughout the year (especially during the holidays!). I have no control whatsoever of the shipping costs.
•If you do not purchase a heat pack, and won’t allow me to hold your box for a safe shipping window, it’s shipped at your own risk. I won’t argue with you if you insist I can ship live plants to upstate in -5 degree weather.
Above all else- please be kind. My time is so precious balancing my child and trying to play ‘catch up’ during naptime, or when she’s asleep for the night. I am doing my absolute best to make sure I’m consistently providing a good product, while taking care of all the behind the scenes inventory, emails, and order queues. Remember- it’s just me and my Chief of Operations running this 😉 (and if you haven’t followed for long, that would be my 18 month old).
