Apparently we sell more than places to sleep now. 😂

Over the years, Metcalf’s Hibernation Station has grown quite a bit. We still take sleep seriously — great mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows and bedding — but now we can help make the rest of your home a little more comfortable too.
Sofas, sectionals, recliners, lift chairs… and of course, plenty of things Gentle Ben would happily claim for himself. 🐻

We’re still the same locally owned store where you can come in, get comfortable, ask questions, and actually take your time finding what works for you. No high-pressure sales pitch. Just good products, fair prices, and people who’ll tell you what we really think.

Come see what’s new at Metcalf’s Hibernation Station in Hickory.

Better Sleep. Happier Days. And now, a more comfortable living room too.

There’s NO purchase necessary. This is just something fun we wanted to do for our customers and our community. Get your picture, throw it up on your Facebook or Instagram, and show everybody you survived Halloween Ben! 🐺

And while you’re here, you’re always welcome to wander around, try out a mattress, kick back in a recliner, or just say hello. No pressure.

👻 SPOOKY SAVINGS HAVE ARRIVED AT THE HIBERNATION STATION! 🎃🐻

The only thing scary about shopping for a new mattress should be realizing how long you’ve been sleeping on the old one. 😂

If you’re waking up sore, tossing and turning, or just not sleeping like you used to, come see me. We’ll actually take the time to figure out what feels right for YOU — no pressure, no confusing mattress-store nonsense.

We’ve got spooky-good savings throughout the store on mattresses, adjustable bases, pillows & bedding, sofas and recliners — including some incredible American-made options. 🇺🇸

💰 AND DON’T LET THE PRICE SCARE YOU!
We keep our prices as close to wholesale as we can, because I’d rather earn your business with a great product at a fair price — and have you come back and tell your friends — than play the big-box pricing game.

Need a little more time to pay? We’ve got that covered too.

🎃 $0 DOWN & 0% DEFERRED INTEREST FOR 24 MONTHS through Synchrony Financing.*
See store for details.

🐻 Come stretch out, get comfortable, and find out what better sleep is supposed to feel like.
