Tomorrow is my birthday, the first day of Scorpio season, and Amanda Hufford Studio turns one! (Can you believe it’s only been a year?!)

It’s also one year since the Bright Moon collection launched, so I’m celebrating with a brand new Bright Moon variation (watch this space!).

I’ve been designing this collection my whole life.

I grew up in High Point, in and around its showrooms. My father often brought me sample materials, and l’a create spaces, furnishings, and accessories. Now I’ve spent nearly three decades working in sustainable design as an architect, researcher, and educator. Now jeweler.

Reclaimed by Amanda Hufford Studio is the culmination of all of it: jewelry made from reclaimed industrial materials from High Point’s home furnishings industry, celebrating this city’s past, present, and future of design and production.
