Cutting board redo???

Working with wood can be unpredictable. Several factors take place for a project to turn out beautiful or go horribly wrong in an instant.

This cutting board did the latter and was remade. A slight imperfection caused the previous board to be trashed due to a knot that split open. For cutting boards that's a bad thing (likewise for other projects).

This 12*16*1.5 butcher block cutting board turned out amazing (no knots lol). The customized monogram initials and juice grove completes the piece.

911 Communication Centers are made up of some strongest men and women in their field. From handling routine (easy) calls to pure Chaos within seconds, they are always there to help.

As part of Telecommunications week, I was tasked with making this beautiful Challenge Coin Flag for the fine folks at the Nassau County Sheriff's Office Comms Center.

The Flag measures 13" x 25" depicted in the iconic Thin Yellow Line and custom NCSO Star. Included are three rows that will hold 35-40 challenge coins.

Patriotism, Honor and Glory ...

I was tasked to make this United States Flag for a Veteran/Instructor at one of my local high schools who is retiring.

I was a little intimidated at first and the Flag had to be as close to perfect as I could get. In my honest opinion, the Flag turned out amazing.

It's always an honor to make any project for the Fire Department. Especially for my local Nassau County Fire Rescue.

The overall dimension for the two piece plaque measures 18" x 17". The iconic Thin Red Line and fire cross resting on the crossed fire axes completes this piece.

It's been a while since I've made one of these badges.

This was a second time for this FHP retirement badge being made. The first was stained and looked great. However you can't beat the two tone black and metallic look. The badge measures 14" x 14" x 1" and depicted with the Trooper's name, rank and retirement date.

Permission granted to come aboard for your next vacation destination.

I had a lot of fun making this early Christmas gift. The cruise themed sign measures 24" in diameter for the ship's wheel and is stained with Early American for that old world feel.

The custom carved images are highlighted with Lagoon paint (yes ..it's a real color) for a cool tropical look. The Destination tags (18 in total) were added with jute twine to complete the piece.

This is what happens when two worlds collide. Coffee + Fall =
