Remembering September 11 — First Responders Park, Hilliard, OH

Every day, ACC Rental looks out across the street at First Responders Park. Today, that view means something different.

This memorial sits at the corner of Main and Center in downtown Hilliard, and it's not just a plaque or a name on a wall. In 2010, Hilliard first responders traveled to Hangar 17 at JFK Airport and personally escorted home seven tons of steel from the World Trade Center — twisted beams and a section of subway rail that are now on display here, just steps from our office. Three granite walls carry the names of nearly 2,800 victims, including the 366 NYPD and FDNY first responders and 37 Port Authority officers who never came home. The centerpiece is a stainless steel sculpture by local artist Dale Johnson, its silhouettes designed so that 13% represent first responders — the same proportion who lost their lives that day.

The park was dedicated on September 11, 2010, and just underwent a full renovation, with a rededication ceremony held last year on the 15th anniversary.

We're grateful every day to call Hilliard home. Today especially, we're grateful this community chose to remember so permanently, so visibly, and so close to where we get to work every morning.

We will never forget.

Marquee Tent Rental at the Community Cup — Fortress Field, Obetz, OH

37 marquee tents. One field. A full day of setup before the Community Cup, presented by The Columbus Foundation, even began.

ACC Rental was out at Fortress Field in Obetz today building the tent lineup that covered this event from end to end — row after row of marquee tents, positioned and ready for one of Central Ohio's biggest community celebrations. It's the kind of job that takes a full crew working in sync, and it's exactly the scale we love showing up for.

The Community Cup brings people together for a great cause, and getting the infrastructure right means the day runs the way it's supposed to for everyone who shows up.

A Perfect June Wedding at the Huston Family Home — Columbus, OH

This wedding celebrating the Hustons at their family home in Columbus, OH is one of those days where everything came together exactly as it should have.
