As we hit the final few weeks I would like to say nice job to all the Mod 4 rookies for the year. We have 15 drivers that have put in over 10 nights.
It looks like 1st place will be Dexyn Habraken but we still have a battle for the 2 remaining paying spots with Urijah Welch in contention to pickup the 2nd spot.
Today’s Rookies, Tomorrow’s Stars Program
2026 is shaping up to be a huge year for the Mod 4 rookie class—from Minnesota to Wyoming.
XL1 Race Supply is proud to launch a national and local incentive program designed to support, grow, and reward the next generation of Mod 4 drivers.
⸻
National Program
For every WISSOTA Mod 4 rookie who competes in 10 or more feature races, XL1 Race Supply will contribute $100 to a rookie points fund.
Example:
If 12 rookies compete in 10+ features, XL1 Race Supply will add $1,200 to the fund.
In addition, 37L Lila Jacobson Racing will contribute an extra $500.
Rickshaw Racing Supplies will kick in 250.00
Mike Rau at SCAW will add $300 to the pot!
Justin from L&F builders has added $250 to the pot!
Hayley with TR Wraps and Grapics has added a wrap to the 2nd place rookie in national points. $699 value!!!
Butch Thell has added $200 on behalf of GOT MILK
The WISSOTA National Mod 4 Rookie of the Year will receive this fund on top of the standard WISSOTA rookie payout. Depending on participation, the total payout is expected to be around $3250, split 55% to first place and 30% to second place and 15% to third place!
⸻
Local Track Program
At the local level, XL1 Race Supply will award a $500 certificate toward the purchase of a new XL1 chassis or engine package to the 2026 Rookie of the Year at the following tracks (pending track participation):
• Princeton Speedway
• Granite City Speedway
• North Central Speedway
• KRA Speedway
~ Black Hills Speedway
- Gillette Thunder Speedway
⸻
Why Mod 4?
The Mod 4 class is a true melting pot—new and experienced racers, young and old. It offers affordable (as affordable as racing gets), fast, and competitive racing. We race hard on the track and work just as hard off the track to teach, support, and build the class.
XL1 Race Supply is excited to do its part in helping these young drivers grow their careers, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.
⸻
