Oooooh 2021.... I don't know about you, but this year has flown by AND I'm glad its almost over. Thanks to everyone for hanging in there and your continued interest in Bug's Soapothecary. It has been a crazy year for us too. Not limited, but including a complete label rebrand!

Many people were concerned about the plastic packaging, which was actually biodegradable. We heard you!From this point forward the labels will be 100% recycled material and 100% recycleable.

2021 is a wash. But... BUT! There are super exciting things coming in 2022. New and fun lines, seasonal soaps, discounts, email lists (not a whole lot of emails) brand new website, new ways to pay and more!

Again, thank you for all your love and support! I look forward in connecting with you in the new year.

In the meantime... enjoy a super cute (not for sale... at this point) picture of my super cute Holiday present for my nephews, who are young and love drawing on the bathroom walls. They are bath crayons, so they can draw on the walls and each other, then mom and/or dad can just wash them off! (Auntie Bug Loves You)

This bar combines coconut, babassu, apricot kernel, castor and olive oils along with cocoa butter to help your skin feel decadent and moisturized while still providing a superior clean.
 
The oils in this soap are known for cleansing, moisturizing, being packed with vitamins and nutrients, helping to provide balance of the natural oils in the skin and help protect against damage from the weather.  It is an amazing soap for all skin types.
 
The scent is Relaxing, which combines Lavender, Eucalyptus and Mint with just a hint of vanilla providing a beautiful, relaxing aroma.

To celebrate the earth, let’s dig in the dirt!  Introducing the Gardener’s Bar.
 
I love to yard work and garden.  I don’t really love the hand stains, dry and scratchy skin, and caked dirt that I can’t get out from under my nails.  I have tried the mechanic’s soap, but it doesn’t leave my hands feeling nice and soft, like I want.  Thus the Gardener’s Bar was crafted.  The fresh, crisp scent of this bar combines all my favorite scents of spring; fresh cut grass, wildflowers, a hint of herbs. 
 
The bar contains lots of oils that are delicious and nurturing for your skin.  Combined with pumice powder and charcoal to get a super deep down clean to get rid of stains and kaolin clay for another added level of moisturizing, this bar leaves the skin feeling soft and rejuvenated after a stint of yard work.  This soap is formulated for sensitive skin, but is amazing for all skin types.

April’s Soap Of The Month: Sunflower Bliss

As the weather starts to get sunnier, I don’t know about you, I am outside way more often. While being outside has many benefits, it can also cause damage to the skin. Happy National Puppy Day!🐶❣🐶

Daphne is an 8 year old puppy now. This picture was the day I brought her home, all tuckered out from the day's adventures. My life has and will never be the same. Love you puppypie!
