Hi everyone it’s been a while since you’ve seen me. My daughters husband was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. Quick update and a sincere thank-you to all of our wonderful customers, vendors and fans.

We have had a fantastic first year as the new owners of Giant Leap Rocketry, LLC. We are excited to let you all know that we will be at B.A.L.L.S. 26 this year, hosted in Black Rock, Nevada. We will be setting up a tent and displaying our new redesigned T-bolt, Firestorm, Vertical Assault and the Talon 4. We will also have many of the exclusive components that Giant Leap Rocketry, LLC is known for, on display. Hello all you Giant Leap Rocketry fans! Dix here with a quick update... Bob and I have been busy. We have modified and improved three rocket kits: the T-bolt, the Firestorm, and the Vertical Assault. All three rockets kits come complete with all the parts necessary to build a strong and durable rocket. Each kit contains fiberglass air frames and composite fincans, our exclusive slimline retainers, parachutes, Kevlar chute protectors, Kevlar shock cord and nose cones. You're going to love these kits! Also you can find online newly written instruction manual's each approximately 20-pages of full-color photo instructions making these kits easy to build level 1 and level 2 certifying kits.

Many of you have a looked forward with great anticipation to see the Talon series come back online. It is with great excitement that we announce that the Talon 2 and the Talon 4 will be available by August 2017. We will then move hard and fast to get the Talon six online and ready to sell. So all those who are looking forward to getting one, you'll have it by the time your fall launch comes around.

To alleviate any fears for those who have posted concerns, I'm happy to announce that the company is profitable and we're moving forward in a big way. We are currently designing a nosecone avionics bay. This is critical for narrow diameter high altitude lightweight rockets. We are also working on a simple to build two-stage kit requiring minimal parts and minimal effort. We are very excited about this two-stage kit that is currently in development at Giant Leap Rocketry.

Just so you know our first public appearance will be B.A.L.L.S. 2017 at Black Rock. We do not plan on selling anything at B.A.L.L.S. Our goal is to bring examples of our exclusive product line so that you can see how they'll improve your rocketry experience. If any of you have questions about specific products and would like us to bring them, so you can see them let me know. Also if you do want to make purchases prior to Ball's, we are happy to bring those purchases with us to save you the shipping fees.

This little guy defines the spirit of what we do, fun with a little "off the wall" mixed in.

There will be one more day of Airfest tomorrow, but this completes my coverage and time on site. Thanks to all that attended in spite of the heat, wind and dust; obviously, without your attendance, these things don't happen.

But my main thank you goes to the Kloudbusters, my home group. These members have committed their time, sweat and forward thinking into continuing the work begun by our founding members, and some no longer with us.

I cannot fairly list all who make the difference, but our board is the best. And at the very tip of the spear is our Club President, Lance Licktieg and Prefect Bob Brown.

Lance and Bob are the best club President and Prefect in the United States.
