This is a corn field in Hill County Texas. It has been destroyed by a hailstorm.

Prior to the storm it was on pace to be a great crop at a critical time of narrow margins and limited profitability for producers.

Ironically, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and HHS Secretary RFK were in the area just days before when grower moral was high and the crops were beautiful.

This event underscores the crucial need for an insurance safety net that works for the producer, the insurance underwriter (AIPs), the AIPs reinsurers, and agents.

Farm families need it.
Rural communities rely on it.
Ag lenders bank on it.

As they say, it takes a village.
