I’m inventorying over 200 fresh pieces hitting the sales floor tomorrow for New Stock Friday, including some fab purses and colorful & carved Bakelite bangles!

But this brooch, as I’m entering it in inventory, really speaks to me. It’s from the 1880s, hand-forged sterling, with a star and flourishes indicative of the period. Kind of like its own firework! It’s not perfect, but it’s the imperfectness that makes it endearing and reminds me these were made by hand and never alike. To me, it’s the perfect July 4th piece.
