The art of pie making. Made 2 sweet potato pies, yesterday. Totally bummed I forgot to make pictures, once the meringue was on & toasted. They turned out great.

Designing and building a future brick & mortar shop, is a slow, thorough process. Have been feeling the desire to share small excerpts from my business plan. Here is the first paragraph from my small business mission:

A fun find at the local thrift shop. Found the lantern at St Vincent. My mom found the shepherds hook while on the world’s longest yard sale roadways. Not bad for only spending $5.

Thinking about this coffee, this morning. SOAR cafe in Jackson, Mi has several fun coffee flights. Served hot or cold.

These seem to becoming more popular again. I can fit limes, oranges, grapefruit, any size fruit, in the same sleeve. They wash easy, store away easily when not in use. I keep two around for our personal use. What do you think?

My wife said she wanted a truck full of yarn for her birthday and I thought she was joking.
So I bought a toy dump truck from Target, filled it with two skeins I panic-grabbed from Michaels because the lady there started asking questions and I felt judged.
She opened it this morning and laughed until she cried. Then she kissed me harder than she has in years.
Apparently she meant an actual pickup truck loaded with yarn. Like… a real one.
But she says this was better.
I still don’t understand crafters, but I’m keeping her.
