Foxy’s Mermaid Marina

Unfortunately, due to a series of unfortunate events and with a lot of emotion. We will be permanently closed and we are listing the business. If you are interested in renting, leasing or purchasing the property, we will be listing with Darin Spieth from Hillsdale. We appreciated ALL of our wonderful customers and we thank you for your patronage.

Currently, we are looking for someone from Oak Haven who might be able to mow/weed eat for us for the remainder of summer, once every three/four weeks or so. Please DM if interested.

We also just wanted to let you know that the entire property is currently posted NO Trespassing and if you see anyone there who does not have a key to enter the building, they are trespassing. Again, we have never owned the property next door and have nothing to do with it. But no one has our permission to park or launch or use our dock, so if you do see someone launching or using our property, they are doing so without permission and feel free to inform law enforcement or DM us and we will.

Thanks for understanding and thank you. I cannot explain how hard this decision has been and how much I love the Hillsdale hunting and fishing community.

Hello Folks! Just wanted to let all of our teacher friends know that the Michigan DNR Salmon in the Classroom program applications are now open for the 2023-2024 school year. What an awesome way to celebrate our great wildlife resources! Check out this link for more details!

A year-long program in which teachers receive fertilized salmon eggs from a DNR fish hatchery in the fall, hatch them out, feed and raise the fry through spring, and then release the young salmon into a local river. Plus there's a whole curriculum that goes with it.

It is colder than a witches _-_-_-_-_ out there this week! We are feeling sad for our FFA fair folk trying to show animals in this cold rainy weather. We just wanted to wish all of our friends and family a great fair week! We didnt get a booth this year, but we will be there visiting and enjoying it at some point this week. If you see us out and about in our pink shirts, come say Hi! We are hoping the weather warms up and we have a couple more nice sunny days yet! But I’ll tell you it does have those deer moving, and fair week into opening day of bow has me feeling its fall:). Stop in and check out broadhead and our field tips (120 & 125 grain in stock) for sighting in and the behining of buck fever for this week! We hope to see you soon! And no matter what you choose to do this week, have a great one! Blessings
