And just like that....it is August (of course, the temperature outside is a constanat reminder right now!!). Just a quick peek at what is coming up this month. We start right off the bat with First Saturday and continue on with the usual sew days, clubs and many classes. This month, Rose is teaching "Chicken Dance" for foundation pieicing. We have Laura coming back to teach a two day class in the "Holiday Trucks". Cathy is continuing to use the Panel Mash-up book. This month's pick is "Under Pressure". We have another new teacher, Shayna, who will be teaching "Hearts Aligned". This class is a foundation paper piecing class. For embroidery club, Cathy is making coasters with cork fabric. And, Ann is teaching a class to make project zipper bags. So much happening! Don't forget our End of the Bolt sale on the last Saturday of the month, too! Hope to see you soon!!

*Just a reminder that David Trebotich from "Twice Nice Sewing Machine Restorations" will be here at our shop tomorrow, Saturday, July 25th. He will be teaching a workshop from 11am to 3pm on maintenance on your Singer Featherweight. If you are not enrolled in the class, there is one spot left, but drop ins outside of the "class" time are welcome. David wil have parts and pickups/dropoffs before and after the class. David is very good at helping you trouble shoot any problems going on with your machine. He usually brings reburbished machines with him to sell if you are interested and does amazing paint jobs if you are looking to leave your machine with him for a little sprucing up!!
**The shop will be open tomorrow normal business hours - 10am to 4pm
***Also, don't forget that it is the last Saturday of July.... which means the "End of the Bolt" sale!!! Buy everything off of the bolt, and receive a 40% discount off on that piece. There is no limits to the number of bolts you clear off! 🎉🎉

Well, the 4th of July holiday has messed with our schedule some....but great things still to come!! First Saturday is a week late this month only!! Followed by a shop hop of 4 local stores the next weekend, two days of fun as we celebrate Uncle Sam and America! All of the regular clubs and sew days are happening, plus applique day and embroidery club. We are also hosting David and Marian Trebotich from "Twice Nice Sewing Machine Restorations" on Saturday, July 25th. If you have a featherweight sewing machine that you want to learn how to clean and maintain or in need of a new part or even a new paint job... David is you guy. The class has limited spacing, but there is ALWAYS wonderful feedback about his class and so much learned. Intermediate quilting also starts the last Wednesday of July too!
