A Taste of Home, Right Here on Hilton Head Island!
There’s something special about a sno-ball. It’s more than just shave ice, syrup, and marshmallow. It can take you right back to a moment in time.
One of our favorite traditional flavors is Egg Custard with Marshmallow, a true Baltimore, Maryland sno-ball staple. And we’re so excited to offer this classic flavor right here at Sharky’s Sno-Balls on Hilton Head Island!
Recently, a gentleman came by and ordered an Egg Custard with Marshmallow sno-ball. As he took his first few bites, something incredible happened he was brought to tears.
That sno-ball took him right back to his childhood growing up in Maryland. It brought back memories, places, and moments from years ago that he hadn’t experienced in a long time.
It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes we don’t realize the impact something as simple as serving a sweet treat can have on someone. We think we’re just making a sno-balls, but sometimes we’re helping someone taste a memory, revisit a special time, or feel a little closer to home.
That’s one of the things we love most about what we do.
