Not gonna lie, this year has been very busy in the flower garden! I set some goals for myself at the beginning of the season, and I’m proud to say I’ve accomplished many of them! Of course, there have also been a few crop failures and experiments that didn’t quite go as planned, but overall, I’ve been so pleased with how everything has turned out.
One thing I haven’t done as much this year is simply enjoy the garden for myself. This past week alone, more than 50 bouquets were picked up or delivered from the flower field, and for the last few days, I haven’t moved a single step out there. I’ll admit, it feels a little odd—especially knowing I have a crop of sunflowers just starting to bloom!

But I knew it was time to slow down and get back into the garden for the joy of it. The kids even reminded me that we hadn’t been out there in a while!

So, the last few days have been a little quieter, and honestly, I’ve loved it. There’s something so special about having a house full of random bouquets and being able to give flowers away to people. 💐

This garden has been a lot of work, but it’s also brought me so much joy—and I’m trying to remember to enjoy that part, too. 🌻

The days are becoming shorter and some flowers are starting to show signs of exhaustion. BUT there is still so many blooms out there! Another 300 sunflowers are starting to bloom and the zinnias are on fire! Hope to see you in the flowers!

🅿️When you arrive, continue up the driveway and park by the flower field. You'll find a table with shears, cups and payment.

• How it works
Stop at the table before heading to the field. Grab a cup and a pair of clippers, then cut as many flowers as you can fit into your cup! When you're finished, please return the clippers to the table. The cup and flowers are yours to keep!

💲 $20 per cup/adult, $10 per cup/ kids
Our farm stand is self-serve. We accept cash, check, and Venmo.

📝Plan ahead for your visit!
We recommend bringing water, sunscreen, bug spray, and closed-toe shoes. Please leave pets at home. There is no public restroom available during the summer.

Last week was a tough one. We said goodbye to our almost 14-year-old furry companion, Jack. ❤️
The kids showed so much empathy and maturity throughout the process. Even through their own sadness, they found ways to comfort me as I grieved, and I’m so proud of them.

We “planted” some flowers so Jack can always be close to the garden—a little reminder that he’ll always have a place here with us. 🌸🐾
