I learned that a friend of a friend had two small kids with Autism. I decided to send them a Hobie kit and didn't think about it again. Then, a week later I received a beautiful thank you note, and a few pics of the kids having a blast with their fort. What did I do? I sent them another one! Enjoy, boys!

It was time to take down the latest play fort my daughter and her friends made. Now, I'm a stickler for not mixing panels (and not oriented the same way), or connectors. But I learned a lesson from the kids . . . it doesn't matter. They just wanted to build and play. The little kids told me what they wanted, and asked me to build it for them. The older kids just grabbed panels and connectors and started building.

There were 5 kids in this fort, and they each wanted their own little section to make their own. I love hearing them play, sing, talk to each other, and talk to themselves. It warms my heart.
