🥰 PROUD MOMMA moment! 🥰

Chica has always had her own sense of fashion and has never been a trendy or name brand kind of gal. Lately, she has not liked the clothing options that she's finding in the stores, so for the past couple of weeks, she's been sewing her own!

So far, she's made 2 pairs of jeans, 3 blouses and 2 circle skirts. She's currently in the middle of making a light crinoline to go under the skirts. The kittens are having a blast annoying her as she works with all of that tulle. 🤣

I did ask to take a pic of her sewing. I got a serious side eye with a heaping dose of I Don't Think So glare. I respect her, so like I said, trust me.

Good morning!

Want to know a secret?

If you see me eating cream of wheat in this quantity in the evening, you can guarantee that I'm not feeling well. CoW had always been comfort food for me.

On the upside, I hope to be past the jaw pain I've had for over a week. I had a temporary crown put in Monday of last week and have had a considerable amount of pain since. I finally got back to the dentist yesterday to find out that the temp crown was cracked and not sealed properly. They replaced it, but still...ugh.

Today will be better...I hope.

Oh yes, I did! I figured out how to do a zip up flannel hoodie with a bit of added embellishment for fun. 😁

This is #20 of my goal is 24 before Sept 1st. Awwww yeah!

I'll start #21 in just a few. Wooohooo!

It took me a couple of weeks, but I made my Fall sweatshirt!

I've never played with reverse applique but I'm so happy with how this turned out. ☺️

Now for a bit of a hint at upcoming similar projects for my fall and ☃️ events, I have black sweatshirts that will be paired with red/black/white flannel as well as gray sweatshirts with steel grey/black/red flannel. What might those turn into, hmmm?

I did it! HAH!!!
*does the happy dance in a circle*

I made:

✅ - 3 flannel hoodies. Check out the new little details. I made a lined kangaroo pocket AND appliques a maple leaf. 😁
📢I have finished 19 of my self imposed goal of 24 before the end of August. I've got this! 📢

✅ - 1dozen bowl cozies, all college themed. I'll be doing other schools this coming week.

✅ - 1 embroidered cap ...I think I'll do a quick reel of my recently stitched caps later this week.

‼️BONUS MAKE‼️ A bunch of scrunchies to tame the scrap pile a bit.

I'm definitely happy!

Now to create my list for this next week. 🤔
