Whether you are planting a pollinator garden, rejuvenating your cottage garden, or filling in some empty spots in your garden, we still have plenty of options available at the greenhouse. Our perennials are in 4 1/2" pots, and so affordable that you can plant in clumps of three, as recommended by many gardeners. Planting now helps to ensure that they will become established this year in your garden, and be beautiful next spring and summer. I personally love watching the evolution of my own perennial garden; my spring cottage garden pastels are making way for vibrant late summer blooms of orange, yellow, purple, and red. Several years ago, there was a downy mildew that was wiping out impatiens plants. Since that time, new varieties have been developed to be resistant to this. We have grown and tested the Beacon series and are very impressed. If you have missed impatiens in your shade garden, we recommend that you try these.
