Good Evening! So I just have to share a project that one of our talented knitter/crocheters, Anne, made many years ago for her daughter’s wedding. She brought it in today for a show and tell and the work involved was incredible. The cotton thread she used to crochet is seen below, and each square took four hours to complete. Truly a labor of love and a beautiful heirloom. It is used as a coverlet on a queen sized bed.

We had a perfect class for this very cold winter day.. wooly snowmen! A lot of fun and they all came out with such personalities! I also wanted to mention something about the birdhouse rug and bird punchnneedle i posted earlier. They both were started by our friend and wonderful rug ho**er Libby. She passed away before they were finished and April was kind enough to finish the hooking, and Anne the needle punching as a keepsake for her daughters. We miss Libby all the time.. a most kind and sweet woman and dedicated crafter❤️
