Hi, Friends! I’m not using this page much anymore, but I wanted to share my new creative venture. I’m publishing books under the name Trinity Locke, and my first book, The Beta Test, is coming soon. It's a clean YA romantic comedy (You've Got Mail vibes, but high school).

If that’s your kind of thing, I’d love to have you follow along:

Newsletter: https://www.trinitylocke.com/newsletter
Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/trinity.locke.writes/
Amazon: https://a.co/d/07A3ontS

No pressure at all, just wanted to let this corner of the internet know where I’m creating now. Have a great summer :)

PS - If you're interested in getting a free ARC (advance reader copy) in exchange for an honest review (not mandatory but appreciated), you can do so at these links:

TL;DR — I’m alive but no longer sewing. I’ve moved on to new things! Thanks for following and supporting me over the last decade ❤️

10 years ago I started sewing. I bought a sewing machine, watched YouTube videos, and dove into the hobby. As a new stay-at-home mom I felt like I needed something to fill my time, and I enjoyed the accomplishment of sewing clothes for my daughter.

8 years ago I opened Q&J. I loved the challenge of starting a business and all that entailed. I took breaks here and there, but I always came back to this space eager to begin new projects.

In December of 2021 I stopped sewing. I no longer felt inspired and my neck/shoulders were wrecked from being hunched over a cutting table and a sewing machine for years. With my new free time I began to focus on flexibility/mobility, reading, and creative writing. 6 months later I still feel no inclination to return to the sewing space and am still loving these new hobbies.

All this to say, thanks for following and supporting me the past decade. Some of you have messaged me to ask for custom orders, and I’m so sorry I haven’t responded. I kept waiting to see if I felt like re-opening, but it seems that day isn’t going to come. I wanted to make a post to let everyone know I appreciate your support of this little shop, but it’s time to close it down. At this point I’m not sure if I’ll re-open, but if I do, it won’t be any time soon. Thanks for all the love.

My daughter and I were scrolling through old Q&J pictures and we came across some old favorites. I haven’t been feeling creative lately, so it’s encouraging to see old makes I loved!

Snagged some pics of my daughter wearing this new shirt today. Get yours in the Etsy shop! Link in bio. Available in short or long sleeves + slim/plus sizes available.

My son needed a couple more long sleeved shirts, so he picked a couple fabrics out for me to sew up! We love the cute squirrels on the second shirt.

If you love a fabric in the shop but want a different style, feel free to send me a message. This customer requested a raglan tee instead of the tank top that was listed in the sale section
