The Back To School countdown is started, and new teachers all over West Michigan are replenishing their classroom libraries (because a lot of their schools have defunded having a school library). Please remind them to stop by Bluestocking for books and their free book credits!

This week, a customer came in and said, "I listened to the audio for a new book and I'm just not sure if it was good. Like, it was good, but it absolutely DESTROYED me, and I was not prepared. I wanted an escape, something uplifting, and this book needed a content warning on the cover! It was good, but I never want to read this again!" (Sorry, Ben Reeves, it was your #1 IndieNext pick.)

I feel like we all have a book like that - the book was so good, the storytelling was so rich, and we just couldn't put the book down, so it will live forever in our memories... but we're not sure we want it to. Which book is that for you?
