A HUGE thank you to Nancy Gillette and the Historic Ottawa Beach Society HOBS for inviting me to join them as they toured our beautiful light house Big Red today. Big Red is usually not accessible to the public, so it was such a great thrill to be a part of this group. I love Holland, not only because of the wonderful people who live here, but also because of the absolute beauty surrounding us all year round.

Two paint events, one fall day! Join us Friday, September 19 at the studio to welcome the season with a beautiful fall leaf on water.

Bridge the Gap: 1 to 3 PM, $50 per pair (+$15 for a third painter)
Paint side by side with a young artist in your life. For any grown-up and any kid who wants to make something together.

Paint & Sip: 7 to 9 PM, $45 per painter
Sip wine, enjoy cheese and crackers from Culture Cheese Shop, and paint the evening away.

Last evening, I had a wonderful time with this amazing group of really hard working women, .org FCCN Child Care Connections Muskegon County Networking Group through United Way of the Lakeshore. This was a time for them to step away from their busy lives and relax a bit. I'm so glad they invited me to be a part of this lovely evening.

This week's project is this wonderfully easy sunflower. Who doesn't love sunflowers . Remember, it's not about creating a perfect drawing. It's about slowing down, enjoying the process, and taking a few moments for yourself.

What a wonderful evening at our August Paint and Sip class!

We sang happy birthday, we thanked a few of the wonderful painters who helped Carolyn with the move (many thanks again! 💛), and we watched a whole room paint koi fish in a many beautiful ways. Everyone finds their inner artist their own way, and that's exactly what brings us together.
We want to thank Liz and Culture Cheese Shop for joining the party with their amazing cheese and wine samples.
