Even mall owners get to take a vacation. We're going to be quiet for the next couple of weeks, so don't think we forgot about you. I noticed a couple of new things before we left. See you early October!

Happy sunny football Sunday! Aah, the most wonderful Sunday of the year where Detroit Lions fans are hopeful of reaching the Super Bowl. I will forgive all of you for not coming to the mall between 1:00 and 4:00 this afternoon; I'd like to watch the game, too!

Happy Thursday! One day this fall, construction will end on Waverly Road and, to paraphrase from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, there will be much rejoicing. I was at the mall this morning snapping a variety of pictures, nothing in particular. I hope to spy something you like!

Planning on antiquing in Holland soon? Make The Wooden Shoe Antique Mall your first stop. We're open 10-6 seven days a week and much bigger than we appear from the outside!

The Labor Day weekend is behind us and so ends the unofficial end of summer. A huge thank you to the few customers who found their way into the mall yesterday as 7 Brew Coffee on 16th Street choked off the main access to the mall THE ENTIRE DAY and killed our business on what is traditionally a strong day for us. I would also like to thank the Holland Police Department for coming out to try to alleviate the congestion.

We are open 10-6 as usual today, but if you plan to come, please avoid coming in off of 16th Street as Seven Brew once again has blocked access to the mall. Please come in off of Waverly by Buis Mattress and drive either way around the building.
UPDATE: Police are blocking the left turn from 16th Street into the mall; you HAVE to come in the back way off of Waverly.

Happy sunny Labor Day weekend Sunday! Well, we had our downpour on Friday and a very blah day yesterday. Nice to see the sun for the end of the weekend. No change in hours for us as we will be here 10-6 today and tomorrow. Hope to see you at the mall!

Happy Labor Day weekend! Everyone enjoying the deluge this morning? Just a reminder that we are open all weekend, regular hours, 10-6!
