Netties Attic

Netties Attic We are a consignment thrift store specializing in vintage, antique and gently used quality items at Welcome to Nettie’s Attic! Feedback is important to us.

Buying: If a listing has a red heart, 50% of the profits from it are donated to a local food pantry here in New Hampshire. Items are processed in a cat and dog friendly environment that is smoke free. We recommend priority mail because it is insured. We will ship within three days of items being sold excluding holidays and weekends. We do accept returns but do not cover return shipping. If an item

is damaged please send us a picture so we can open a case with the Post Office. Please let us know how we are doing and feel free to contact us at any time. Consignment: A 40% commission is required for us to sell your items in our store. Why 40%? 19% goes to Bonanza for advertising fees, 11% goes to pay for packing supplies such as tape, bubble wrap and fragile stickers. The remaining 10% goes directly to us to cover our labor. Most packages ship Priority Mail, which is insured. Packages not shipping this method that arrive damaged will be reimbursed to the buyer but no monies will be paid to either Nettie’s Attic or the seller. Items entering the store will be thoroughly checked for defects. Any items with defects will not be sold in Nettie’s Attic and will be returned to the seller. Clothing items will require a 30 day waiting period before payment is given to the seller to cover returns in the event that the item doesn’t fit the buyer. Any items “donated” to Nettie’s Attic will be sold and 50% will be given to a local food pantry of our choosing. We are not a non-profit organization but we love to give back to our community! Please call 603-968-9608 or 603-412-2972 to make arrangements for donations or delivery of items you are wishing to sell through us. Due to the nature of our business we don’t deal with large, bulky or heavy items as they are hard to ship. Selling: We buy box lots of items to put into our inventory. All items in the box lots must be approved by Nettie’s Attic prior to purchasing them. Depending on the items within the boxes and size of the box, we usually pay around $5 to $10 a box. Due to the nature of our business we don’t purchase large, bulky or heavy items as they are hard to ship.

So here is our latest update concerning Nettie's Attic. Until July 2019 my elderly widowed mom, my disabled elderly friend, our church, my children, and I were selling items on Ebay and Bonanza under the name, Nettie's Attic as that is my mom's name. In July our storage area containing all the items belonging to the above-mentioned people was broken into by a couple named Sam and Dan Trombley. What they didn't steal and resell for drugs they ransacked. As a result, we had to close Nettie's Attic and try to regroup and try to recover from the trauma of being targeted like this. We would always label our selling boxes with our names and the name of the item inside the box to keep the process of selling and delivering to customers a smooth one. This also allowed us to make sure all those selling under our name got their money. We used shredded paper, donated by a local business, to fill the boxes and keep the breakable safe in transit. In Sam and Dan Trombley's apartment was found our clearly labeled boxes along with trash bags full of the shredded paper we had used to fill the boxes. Inside Sam Trombely's vehicle was found lots of our labeled boxes still containing our products. The Ashland PD told us that Sam Trombley was repackaging Nettie's Attic products her husband, Dan Trombley had stolen from our storage area and then selling them under an assumed name on eBay. The police also stated that they saw Sam and Dan removing items from our storage area but they assumed they had permission to do so. Therefore they failed to stop these criminals before this could go any further. To top all of this off, these two criminals were breaking in, stealing, and vandalizing only when we weren't around. I informed the Ashland PD that it felt as if they had bugged our property or something of that sort since they had an uncanny ability to know when and where we would be at all times. The Ashland PD laughed this off saying I was just paranoid due to the trauma of all of this!! Weeks later the Ashland PD chief came to my door to apologize. He stated that a man named Kirk Stutes had been arrested on separate charges from our situation. When they investigated his cell phone they found he had busted into our private Google calendar and was taking screenshots and sending those screenshots to Sam and Dan Trombley so they would in turn know exactly where we were at all times! Kirk Stutes even went so far as to state, on his very own FB page, that his friend, Dan Trombley Sr., had entered our storage area to retrieve a gift for him!!!!!!!!!! That alone is pretty brazen! Now that we have worked through all the legal investigations and the disappointment of the Ashland PD and the Plymouth District Court not putting them in jail due to COVID and the ridiculous bail reform laws in the state of NH, we are ready to move forward and reopen Nettie's Attic. Obviously, due to all the stolen items, which the Ashland PD has a record of since we provided them with our inventory list which includes photos, we have a much smaller inventory. The insurance company and the state of NH have also failed to compensate us for all the trauma and damages we incurred, just as a side note. So we are open once again but on a much smaller scale due to these career criminals. Our church has long since closed due to our pastor having a stroke so the church will no longer be selling with us unfortunately and neither will my disabled elderly friend as she is dealing with worsening health issues. My kids too have moved on despite the deep emotional scars and lack of trust in humanity created by Sam and Dan Trombley, so they too won't be selling with us anymore. However, myself and my elderly widowed mom will still be selling fine vintage and antique items under the name Nettie's Attic. Joining us will be my own company, Black Cat Studios, where I produce upcycled design pieces, manipulated photos, and Maine-based gift items. Your support and love throughout this horrific experience has been amazing. We truly appreciate all of you and pray that you can rejoin us in this new chapter of Nettie's Attic. https://www.ebay.com/usr/nettiesattic God bless.

OK, everyone..........ATTENTION PLEASE!!! I have been harboring a little secret that is ready to be let out of the bag!! As you know, we started another business called Black Cat Studios which specializes in photography, writing, editing, and design. Well, Black Cat Studios was just graciously accepted by the Spoonflower community to run our own retail shop which converts our photography to unique and fun wallpaper, fabric, bedding, pillows, and other fun items. Go ahead and check it out, tell us what you think, and give us a heart on the items you like the best. Prices are very affordable and sales are frequent. Just keep in mind these are printed to order and handmade so each will be unique and will take a while to get to you should you order. I have new designs coming every day and can create custom orders. Just send me a message concerning custom requests. Have a blessed day!
