It’s been nice getting back into a rhythm making items and prepping for upcoming markets.

From small B2b projects for other makers to refreshing inventory, it’s just been fun running projects down.

Pairing the P series lasers with the Omni has been especially gratifying. Loving the pop of color and ease of adding it to projects.

What a great weekend connecting a couple dozen makers over the course of the weekend. Hosting the open workshop was just what I needed. Sharing in the excitement of getting hands on with the new xTool Omni, as well as exploring other tools from xTool was just what I needed.

Over and over, the shared excitement and the experiences were great, from experienced xToolers to new users. Everyone was there to support and collaborate and it seemed like all left with great ideas and new connections.

Pretty sure this is the first of many more community xTool events in the southern Maine area to come. 🙂

Super excited to be hosting an open workshop demo day in my home community tomorrow, right in Waterboro, Maine.

The Omni and Apparel printer, as well as the Wonderpress, P2s, M2, and F2 will all be up and running with a variety of small projects to empower visitors to get hands on. If you’re in the area, there’s still a few spaces and you can find the sign up on the xTool Squad Events page.

Saturday and Sunday, 4 groups, 6 machines - it’s going to be a blast!

I’m super excited to be hosting an xTool open workshop for folks this weekend, September 5th and 6th.

Curious about the new xTool Omni UV printer? Want to get hands on with the Apparel Printer or maybe try your hand with a laser? Well now’s your chance!

Having fun trying out different materials on the new xTool Omni UV printer. Several days in and it’s been easy to use and quick to make projects happen. Flat materials are easy to process and the rigid and flexible white ink being available makes swapping project materials seem less.

Tomorrow I’m hoping to set up and test the rotary.

Most exciting, the ability to offer customized, vibrantly colored custom items. The video below is a time-lapse of 3 slate coasters.

Back to school! It’s been a fast paced week for this technology coach, but there’s always time for new projects!

Personalized tumblers and water bottles, material testing, and a new machine, soon to be joining the ranks! 😉

It’s going to be a busy fall, and if you need a hand with a special project, I’m ready to help! 🙂

It’s hard to believe it’s already the Friday tomorrow and Fab26 will start winding down in Boston at MIT.

It’s been great showing machines and meeting so many folks with the xTool team and members xTool Squad. They have everything insight from the f2 to the MetalFab, including the Omni UV printer.

I’ve had a blast working the MetalFab and other machines in the MIG CBA and the Center for Bits and Pieces space.

The fun continues tomorrow and Saturday is an open community day. xtool will continue demos and maker spaces will be open for folks to explore from the community. If you’re in the area, it’d be great to see you!

Day 2 of Sebago Days here in Maine. The weathers a bit more on the rainy side, but the F1u and the M2 are still fun crowd pleasers for onsite engraving and project work.

The light weight of the m2 made it an easy bed unit to toss onto a table for some light cutting on the fly without the angled edges of the f1u cuts. The print then cut has also been fun to play with 🙂

It’s been a while since the last post, but then again, I haven’t been at events in a while!

If you’re looking for some fun for the whole family, come down to Sebago Days this weekend! Tonight, Saturday, and Sunday with vendors, food, games, rides, raffles, live music and fun for everyone, it’s a great way to spend some time!

I’m set up with 2 lasers this year, the 3d printer for demos, a new this year, a hat patch bar! Choose a hat, choose or engrave a patch, and make a hat! Not to mention the options for onsite engraving all weekend long!

Always in awe of what can be achieved with these tools.
5mm brass sheet, cut on the metal fab in under 6 minutes, 150x 30mm, quickly cleaned up and shaped for a proof of concept piece.

So much fun and empowerment to be had. 🙂
