Hive & Ember started because I was tired of candles that smell nice but quietly put chemicals into your air.

Most candles are paraffin — basically a byproduct of petroleum. Burn one long enough and you’re breathing in soot and junk you can’t see.

So I built Hive & Ember on beeswax instead. When beeswax burns, it releases negative ions that actually grab dust, allergens, and toxins out of the air. It’s the one candle that cleans while it burns instead of adding to the mess.
