We just received both of our newest Elijah Craig Private Barrels!

The first pick is a 9 year and 94 proof, as we had a lot of regular customers request we bring back our 94 proof barrel pick and we’re super happy how this one came out.

With how well our very first EC Barrel Proof pick was received by all our customers, we did a second BP pick and found this gem that is aged 10 years and the final proof at 131!

We are very excited for the addition of two great wineries hailing all the way from British Columbia Mission Hill Family Estate and CheckMate Artisanal Winery

From Mission Hill Family Estate we have the 2022 Cabernet Franc Terroir Collection. Aromas and flavours of black cherry, raspberry and chocolate are supported by fine and silky tannins.

The 2020 Occulus complex, full-bodied Bordeaux-style red blend. Dominated by Merlot, supported by Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. This vintage was the first Canadian red wine to score 100 points!

From CheckMate Artisanal Winery we have the 2022 Little Pawn Chardonnay. A vibrant nose of key lime, ginger spice, orange blossom, and anise seed. Flavours of tangerines, sage brush and hazelnut excite the senses. The palate has richness while also maintaining a weightless feeling. The long mouthwatering finish hints at the wine’s longevity.​

The Little Pawn Chardonnay, has a big reputation for having scored 100 points six times!

🚨Elijah Craig Private Barrel 🚨

Our newest Elijah Craig Private Barrel has just arrived and let us tell you how excited we are about this barrel.

Coming in at 9 years and 131.9 proof, when we first tasted this barrel we had no idea what the proof was and all guessed wrong because it was not drinking super hot. On the nose you get torched cherry, dark fruit, toasted oak, vanilla bean and maple brown sugar. On the palette toasted oak, burnt brown sugar, butter scotch and baking spice on the back end with a silky viscous. Every sip is different and packed with layers. Do not sleep on this barrel pick, as it only produced 96 bottles total!
