As many of you know last year became a year of some very big changes in my life personally and with the shop. After Steve’s passing, life was very foggy for the first few months. I prayed for strength and guidance. Then Steve’s father had a fall with significant injury resulting in his moving to my house. He has healed from his leg fracture…but at soon to be 93…other health issues have arisen and he will remain living with us. My right hand at the shop, Sharon Mullins, has had her own family health issues and has had to step away to take care of them.

With all of these issues presented at our doorstep…I think God’s message was loud and clear…take care of yourselves and your family. I have officially closed the store. If you would like your embroidery designs, feel free to contact me on Messenger to make arrangements. Any store credits will be refunded. I will be have equipment and supplies for sale as well. I will post at a later date what will be for sale. We plan on having a big inventory sale when the weather makes up its mind to be Spring.

I want to thank everyone that supported us for the last five years…it has been a great ride!❤️😎

Fall is bringing some BIG CHANGES to Cathy’s Creations…to be honest I have found it very difficult for the “ME” to function properly without the “WE”. That comes from several aspects. I really never realized how much Steve and I did together to keep all the wheels on our cart. I have had to learn a lot of “Steve” jobs or hire others to help get things done just to keep my nose above water.

Here at the shop, I really rely on my right hand person, Sharon Mullins. Sharon has had to step away to take care of her husband. My left hand person, Sherri Jolene Steed Hayes has had many personal events that have prevented her from helping Sharon and I at the shop. My philosophy has always been and will continue to be…family comes 1st!

The shop will be changing our hours starting this week. We will close at 3 PM Tuesday through Friday. If you have something to drop off, pick-up or wish to discuss a project …give us a call at the shop to schedule YOUR time.

Hope everyone understands…if not…I can give you recommendations to take your work to. Keep all of us in your prayers…we sure need them❤️
