📣The final numbers are in, and WOW! What started as a nationwide goal to bring comfort and smiles to children facing difficult hospital stays turned into something truly extraordinary! During September's Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Ryan's Case for Smiles challenged communities across America to create 40,000 pillowcases. And did they ever deliver! An incredible 50,604 pillowcases were collected nationwide! ❤️
Here in Colorado, the statewide total reached 782 pillowcases. But here's the part that REALLY makes our hearts swell...
🥁 232 of those pillowcases came from our little Creative Traditions community. That's nearly 30% of Colorado's ENTIRE total! 🥰 Just think about that. One small community, 17 pairs of helping hands, and a whole lot of love stitched into every seam! A special thank-you to our local volunteers as well as six wonderful neighbors from The Pines at EbenEzer who joined in this effort.
We may come from a small corner of Colorado, but together, we helped make a BIG difference! Every pillowcase represents a little comfort, a little hope, and one more reason for a child to smile.
From all of us at Creative Traditions, THANK YOU for proving that small towns have some of the biggest hearts! 💕
