We are now permanently closed.
Ali and I would like to thank everyone who has supported our Shoppe over the past 3.5 years. During this time we have met many fantastic people in which we became friends with. We were able to share in celebrations, happy moments, sad moments, and pray for anyone who came in asking for it.
Through our Shoppe we were able to give back to our community and support several causes that supported our military, veterans, first responders, children, and animals.
We kept our prices as low as possible in which many of our items were lower than the bigger box stores. We did this so our community could afford quality products. From day one, we wanted everyone who walked through our door to feel welcomed and have the ability to create wonderful memories with their loved ones.
Ali & I started this Shoppe after a huge and sudden loss in our family. We did this so I did not have to leave her to go to work each day. This Shoppe was such a blessing to us and got us through some of the worst days of our lives. To be able to be with each other while creating an atmosphere where others came to enjoy each other, some ice cream, and a little nostalgic candy was just phenomenal. To have a place that brought people together to share their memories of going to similar businesses when they were young to their kids and grandkids made us happy.
We rarly had an upset customer which made working most days enjoyable. Even though we are now closed, I would not trade the time we had in our Shoppe for anything.
To sum this up, we have had many come to us over the past couple weeks telling us how much they appreciated our Shoppe, the things we have done for them, and that we were a blessing to them. But, the truth is, we were blessed to be able to do what we did. For God to bless us with a small business that brought smiles, friendships, and families together is one of the greatest blessings that I have experienced.
I have used the term blessing a good bit because that was what our shoppe was about. We don't bless to be blessed. We bless because God has already blessed us.
Now that this chapter in our lives has come to an end, I do ask for everyone to always support small business when you can. To always bless others when the opportunity arises, and to never take anything for granted.
