I figured it was time to introduce myself since there are so many new faces here 🤍🌿
I’m Lauren, the heart behind Untamed Mother Co. 🐮 and mama to these two little firecrackers.
This didn’t start with a business plan or some big idea. It started with something very simple-my baby’s dry skin and a mama just trying to make it better.
Nothing I tried felt quite right, and I kept coming back to the same thought… there has to be something simpler than all of this.
A close friend who had started working with tallow introduced me to it, and that’s where everything shifted. I started learning, researching, and making it myself- just trying to create something that actually worked and felt aligned with how we wanted to live.
What I found fit right into the life we were already building; slow, simple, low-tox living. Chickens in the yard, kids running barefoot, and a home that leans more toward natural than complicated.
One small post about a few extra jars turned into something I never expected.
Now I make it in the quiet pockets of motherhood-nap times, early mornings, late nights, and the in-between moments when the house finally settles.
The best part has been hearing from you-mamas and families sharing how something so simple has brought relief, comfort, and peace back to their skin.
That means more than I can put into words.
I’m still learning, still refining every batch, and still showing up as a mama first while building this little business in the background of real life.
I don’t know exactly where this path leads, but I do know I’m grateful for every step of it-and every one of you here.
