You just landed or a frequently traveler in Hawaii. Here's ten seconds worth knowing before you leave the gate.

Every AED cabinet at the airport hold a defibrillator and a bleeding control kit.
All of them also have a full bleeding control kit inside, no permission needed, just open it and grab what you need.

Neither one requires training. The AED talks you through every step out loud.

If something happens, call 911 first, then go for the cabinet.

Save this before your next flight home. Tag the person you're traveling with.

Did you know the bleeding kit was in there? Tell us below.

Three checks. Thirty seconds. Every single trip.

SAVE this and SHARE it with your crew before your next run.

Crew members, is your AED somewhere you could find it in the dark? Tell us.

Hands only CPR and how to use an AED takes about 45 minutes to learn.

Push hard and fast in the center of the chest, roughly 100 to 120 pushes per minute, no breaths needed. Keep going until help arrives.

Have you ever practiced this rhythm? Give it a try right now.

That AED by your front desk. When's the last time anyone actually opened it?

Most hotels have one. Most of those have expired pads nobody caught, because the light still blinks green either way.

A thirty second check is the whole fix. We do it for properties across Hawaii every week.

Save this and forward it to your GM or ops manager today.

Have you ever checked the AED at a hotel you stayed at? Tell us below.

If someone collapses near you at the beach, here is the order that matters most.

Call 911. Start hands only CPR right away. Send someone for the nearest AED.

No training needed for any of it, just knowing what comes first. Would you feel ready if it happened today?

Three AED myths are still floating around Hawaii's beaches.

And one of them could cost someone the two minutes that matter most.

Water, rain, sand. None of them are a reason to hesitate with an AED when you witness a cardiac arrest. The devices are built for exactly these conditions.

Save this carousel. Share it with your beach ops team before the next event.

Are your staff trained on what to do if someone goes down on the sand?
