Every detail on this coin was designed with purpose.
The front showcases the unmistakable USS Georgia (SSGN-729) bulldog, brought to life with bold 3D sculpting, aggressive facial detail, textured antique gold plating, and rich enamel colors. The USS Georgia command emblem sits proudly in the center, while the iconic "Sic 'em Dogs!" slogan and beautifully detailed submarine warfare dolphins complete the design, capturing the pride and fighting spirit of the crew.
Turn it over and you'll find an equally stunning reverse featuring a massive raised Commanding Officer star finished in antique gold against a vibrant red enamel background. Encircling the centerpiece is Captain Steven A. Dykstra's name and title along with the powerful quote:
"From the Deep We Served; Into History We Go."
