The Fort Shafter Thrift Shop is a not-for-profit operation operated by the Fort Shafter Hui. Proceeds from sales are put back into the community through scholarships and welfare grants. The Fort Shafter Thrift Shop is also open to the public. ​No military I.D. is needed to shop and take advantage of our bargains, however a military ID or pass is needed to access the military post. Passes can be ob

tained at the Tripler gate with driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance. Volunteers are always welcome! DONATION GUIDELINES
We accept donations of clean, gently used items that may be resold. We do NOT accept: soiled/torn clothing including used socks and undergarments, mattresses/box springs, bed frames or rails, car seats/boosters, cribs or crib mattresses, chemicals, hazardous waste, paint, flammables, automotive liquids, broken furniture, tube TV's, computer towers, non-working electronics, or anything that contains gas, oil, antifreeze, etc. NO electronics/small appliances with a manufacturer date older than 10 yrs ago. NO recalled items. If in doubt please bring items in during business hours, call or message the store for more clarification. Larger furniture items should be dropped off ONLY during OPEN business hours with prior arrangements made first. THIS IS A NON-FEDERAL ENTITY. IT IS NOT A PART OF THE DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE OR ANY OF ITS COMPONENTS AND IT HAS NO GOVERNMENTAL STATUS.

Unfortunately, our Fort Shafter Hui Thrift Shop was hit hard by Lala this past weekend, and we could really use some helping hands as we work to get the shop back in order. 💛

🙌 Come help TODAY anytime between 2–6 PM!

Even if you can only spare ONE HOUR, it will make a huge difference!

🎓 Have a high schooler who needs volunteer/service hours? This is a great opportunity for them to earn hours while giving back to our community!
