Our first-ever batch of Drinking Cacao sold out quickly at our retail locations. It’s a great feeling because it’s something we’ve been excited about a long time but weren’t sure how it would perform.

There’s still a few bags available online if you didn’t get a chance to try it. And in the meantime we’re happy to say there’s a fresh batch on the way.

We had such a great time at this year’s Northwest Chocolate Festival.

It was wonderful catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and spending a weekend talking chocolate with people who care so deeply about this industry.

We were also incredibly honored to receive four Gold Awards for Best Dark Chocolate in the World for four of our Hawaiʻi-grown single-origin bars.

Great chocolate starts with great cacao, and these awards are a reflection of the incredible work our Hawaiʻi cacao farmers are doing. 🌺🍫

Holy cacao we won 4 gold medals at this year’s Northwest Chocolate Festival !! These awards may have our name on them but it’s the farmers behind these beans that deserve just as much credit.

What we’re so ecstatic about is that Hawaiian cacao has had an incredible year, winning awards at an international level. Here in Hawai’i makers and farmers alike have known for a long time that we’ve been doing something special, so finally being recognized at this level is truly rewarding. Let’s keep it going!

Coffee and chocolate, all in one afternoon. ☕🍫

We’ve been neighbors and collaborators for years. Now Mānoa Chocolate and Tradition Coffee Roasters are bringing our worlds together for a new Coffee & Cacao tour.

Start at Tradition with a full roastery tour and a tasting flight of three coffees. Then walk next door to Mānoa for the chocolate side: bean-to-bar education, chocolate fountains, and a look at the factory floor.

Tuesdays at 2 pm · 1 hour 45 minutes · $55 per person

A sneak peak at the new artwork of our Hale’iwa bar—inspired by the surf culture and legendary waves of Oʻahu’s North Shore.

The artwork celebrates the place this chocolate comes from, while inside you’ll find the same single-origin chocolate made with cacao from Waialua Estate.
