We have the big air filtration scrubber working in the dining room today to try and help with the bad air. It is loud, but it does a pretty good job cleaning the air.

That being said, if you struggle with breathing it might be a good idea to stay home.

We are having Cajun Chicken Pasta today!

Let’s hope we get some west wind help today and also send some positive energy towards those firefighters and first responders doing everything they can to fight these fires. 🔥💕🙏

Smoke is now starting to hit our area. I know you love your activities, friends, food and everything that the center has to offer. We are not going anywhere, so if the air quality gets worse and you are someone that has issues with breathing, please stay home. This won't last very long.

• AQI 101–150 (Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups)
• AQI 151 or higher (Unhealthy)
• AQI 200 or higher (Very Unhealthy)

Folks, I have a request from my SENIOR volunteers at the thrift store. They really appreciate your donations, but it is very difficult to sort through when it just all gets dumped. We work hard, but we are older and this is hard on us.
