It has been such a busy weekend already! Congratulations to Whitney and Paul and thank you for including our family in your special celebration.

Thank you as well to our amazing team. We’ve had so many down recently, everyone has gone above and beyond to make the magic work. The dinners we are honored to be a part of aren’t just opportunities to eat, they are bites that become beautiful memories brought home and that is a responsibility we all take very seriously.

Thanks to Ni for sharing the early morning quiet hours with me prepping charcuterie to Carol King 🎶— thanks to Jeff, Andrea, Mark and John for completely leaving your wheelhouses to pull off yet another great event… and to our wonderful kids and staff at the Fjord —You all rock. 🤘

This National Oyster Day, we celebrate this remarkable bivalve that helps clean our waters, provides habitat for marine life, and has sustained the coastal communities of Mason County (and WA) for generations. Every oyster tells the story of clean tides, a caring farmer, and a sense of place that cannot be replicated.

Today’s gelato flavors— fresh peach, rhubarb-raspberry, chocolate swirl, espresso flake (Blue Star Coffee Roasters), vanilla bean (for Charlotte’s brownies and the rhubarb blackberry pie) and salted caramel….

💗My favorite is the rhubarb-raspberry— I cooked the rhubarb and added fresh raspberries 🍓so the first taste is the tartness of the raspberries followed by the silky creaminess and a rhubarb chaser. 🍦

We are open for lunch and dinner today (Saturday) until 8; tomorrow until 6.

Fresh oysters, clams and geoduck dishes on the menu too— thanks South Sound Oysters and Clams, Seattle Shellfish and Hama Hama Oysters for supplying the best local seafood!

We've got more beautiful flowers, more gelato flavors... (but oyster gelato attempt one was an epic failure) -- and great company with the Peace Love & Union Saltwater Songwriters Festival! So cool to meet Jeff Hanna from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Super nice person and he's performing for the Festival on Saturday. Met folks from Alabama, Georgia, New York, Nashville.... all here for the festival! So cool!

We are open tonight until 8 pm and Friday until 8 as well.

WE WILL BE CLOSED SATURDAY & SUNDAY THIS WEEK. Sorry for the inconvenience!

We are so grateful to all the amazing guests that stop by for a meal at the Fjord Oyster Bank! This summer especially we have met so many interesting folks from all corners of the nation –– top that off will some pretty wonderful local regulars and we are truly blessed!

We will be open this Thursday and Friday from 11-8 pm. However, couple things you should know if you are planning on stopping by.

First, Thursday from 11-1p we are honored to be supporting the Saltwater Songwriters Festival by hosting their Legends Luncheon: Jeff Hanna from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band (Mr Bojangles) – it may be a tad busy then. You are welcome to make reservations any time after 1 or on Friday (12-8)

And, second... we are taking a little time for family. We will be closed Saturday and Sunday and opening the following Saturday (August 1). We are so sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and can't wait to see you when we return!
