LONG POST ALERT- It’s necessary!

❤️ A little honesty from Alabama Vinyl…

This week has been a tough one.

We messed up some orders. We made mistakes. We disappointed some customers. We’ve dealt with equipment failures that threw a wrench in our plans. And we’ve worked our tails off trying to make things right.

Some customers showed us incredible patience and understanding. Others… not so much.

And listen, we GET IT. You spend your hard-earned money with us, and you expect things to be right. As you should!

But here’s what I want everyone to remember…

We are HUMAN.

We are a small team working incredibly hard to keep up with a business that has grown beyond our wildest dreams. We work long hours, skip lunches, stay late, troubleshoot equipment that decides to quit at the WORST possible time, and genuinely CARE about every order that comes through our doors.

But sometimes, despite our best efforts, things go wrong.

We don’t make excuses. We own our mistakes, work around the things we can’t control, and do everything we can to make things right.

But please remember… you can hold us accountable and still treat us with kindness. The two can absolutely exist together. ❤️

We’re not perfect. We never claimed to be. But I promise you, nobody here shows up to work intending to let anyone down.

To everyone who continues to support us, encourage us, and give us a little grace along the way… THANK YOU.

We’ll keep learning, keep improving, and keep giving this little business everything we’ve got. ❤️

🏁 ANOTHER FIRST FOR ALABAMA VINYL! 🏁

Y’all… check out our VERY FIRST custom tent! 👏🔥

A huge THANK YOU to Ryan Price with Price Heating & Air for trusting me through the process and letting us bring this one to life! There’s always a little bit of nervousness when you tackle something new for the first time, but seeing this thing completely set up made it SO worth it.

And let me tell you — this isn’t your average pop-up tent.

💪 High-quality, heavy-duty canvas top
💪 Sturdy aluminum frame
🔥 Fully custom printed with YOUR branding
🔥 And those little AVP details on the inside… because you know we had to put our touch on it!

Already have a good tent frame? We can also customize JUST THE TOP for you!

These are perfect for businesses, race teams, festivals, vendor events, schools, sports teams and anyone who wants to actually LOOK like a brand when they set up.

Custom tents will be hitting alabamavinyl.com soon! Until then, reach out to me directly for options and pricing.

I swear every time I think we’ve added enough around here, we find something else we want to do. 😂

HERE WE GROW AGAIN! 🏁

Thank you to everyone who continues trusting Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. with your businesses, your brands and all my crazy new ideas. ❤️

DTF done right. And apparently tents now, too. 😉

🚨 WE’RE HIRING AT ALABAMA VINYL! 🚨

We’re still looking for the right person to join our team at Alabama Vinyl & Print Co. in Hoover!

This is a part-time position with a set schedule:

🗓 Wednesday – Friday
⏰ 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Experience is required. We’re looking for someone who already understands the basics of the custom apparel business and has hands-on experience with heat pressing, DTF transfers and/or heat transfer vinyl.

This position is a little bit of everything — because that’s how a busy small business works! One day you may be pressing shirts and filling orders, the next you may be helping customers, working on the computer, organizing orders or jumping in wherever you’re needed.

The person we’re looking for is:

• Friendly with GREAT customer service skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Comfortable using a computer
• Able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Willing to jump in and help wherever needed
• Someone who takes pride in doing things correctly

There will be times when you are working in the retail shop on your own, so we’re looking for someone who can see what needs to be done and do it without needing to be micromanaged.

💰 Pay is based on experience.

There will be a 60-day introductory period so that both you and we can make sure the position is a good fit.

Applicants must be willing to complete a background check and drug screening, and references are required.

WANT TO APPLY?

Email [email protected] with:

➡️ Your resume
➡️ References
➡️ A little about your experience with T-shirt/apparel decorating
➡️ Pictures of your work are HIGHLY encouraged! We would love to see what you can do.

PLEASE, NO PHONE CALLS TO THE SHOP REGARDING THIS POSITION.

We’re not just looking for a warm body to fill a schedule. We’re looking for someone dependable who wants to become part of our small team, learn how we do things, take care of our customers and help us keep up with a business that is growing FAST.

Know someone who would be perfect? Please tag them or share this post! ❤️
