From the series of Edge of a kiss. This painting is called ( 24 x 24 Private Moment ) The face isn’t performing. It’s not asking for approval. It feels like a moment you weren’t meant to witness someone alone with their thoughts, holding back words that matter. The rough, chaotic background makes it even more personal, like emotional residue that hasn’t been cleaned up for anyone else’s comfort. Intimacy doesn’t always look like closeness. Sometimes it looks like boundaries, restraint, and truth sitting just beneath the surface. This painting invites the viewer close but only on its own terms.
