SO WHERE ARE THE COLLECTOR BOXES?
Although my business and customer base has grown dramatically over the past year, my collector booster allocation sadly has not. It's the nature of a limited printing product, coupled with an influx of speculators looking to make investments, and distributors dealing with overwhelming demand and more new accounts than they can realistically handle, all looking for hot product like collector boxes. My collector box numbers haven't decreased, they always stay around the same amount, and while that number was sufficient a few years ago, it's grossly inadequate now.

So here's how collector boxes will work going forward:
1. I will reserve half of my allocation for preorders. The other half will be saved for release weekend sales at one pack per person per day.
2. From the time of this posting through Sunday 8/23 I will take requests for collector boxes via the store phone number, messenger (either to the shop or me personally), or a PM on Discord. At the end of this period I will evaluate all of these requests based on event attendance for the Marvel Super-Heroes season and award reservations to people with the highest total attendance. Events that count toward this metric are Standard Showdown on Wednesdays, Friday Night Magic (both draft and competitive Commander), and Sunday Casual Commander. I will inform you if you made the cut no later than Monday 8/24. The price for a collector box will be $319.99.

I know this won't be popular with everyone but I have always believed in rewarding the players who support the shop consistently, week after week. As the saying goes, you dance with the one that brought you.
