Appliance Plus and Repairs We buy, sell and repair used appliances and we sell new scratch and dent appliances. It was opened 65+ years ago by a man and his wife, Eddie and Janie.

Appliance Plus History:
Appliance Plus is a local small business in Hopkinsville, KY. At the time of opening the business they were married with four daughters at home (Teresa, Donna, Debrah and Shonda). The business conducted sales and repair of used major appliances (refrigerators, stoves, washers and dryers). Later within the years of being open Eddie and Janie welcomed two more daughters (Shara and Jana). With Appliance Plus, Eddie also conducted a small construction business. Throughout the years of being open the family grew with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Son-in-laws began joining in on both business and helping Eddie. Grandsons later began joining the business and helping as they grew old enough to do so. The small business grew into a family business. As the years passed the grandsons joined the business until they grew into their own individuals and created a life of their own outside of the family business. Sadly in 2018 Eddie passed away leaving the business to one of his grandsons, Jonathan. Many within the family disagreed with the decision but none of them stepped up and wanted to take over the business but also because everyone knew Eddie wanted Jonathan to inherit the business. Now, Jonathan, has grown the business from just used appliances to brand new from the box appliances and new scratch and dent appliances which is what Eddie wanted to do. As the years continue to pass, the business continues as it should. We all look forward to the business to continue longer until time passes and life says otherwise.

We won't be conducting service calls or major deliveries for the next few weeks due to the owner/service repairman/delivery driver having surgery Monday. We can do minor deliveries with a family friend helping us during this time. But, please be patient with us during this time. It is difficult for us as well as it is for you all.
