Hi there - I'm Rachel! I have a tendency to forget that not everyone knows the person they are interacting with behind the bar of the shop is actually the owner, so let me tell you a little bit about myself:

When I was in middle school and people would ask me what my dream job was, I would say "running a bookstore". Even then I thought that was unrealistic, so when I got to high school I changed that dream job to "event planner". I never would have guessed that before I turned 30 I would be opening a bookstore where I get to host as many community events as I want and sell books and pour wine and make coffee.

I of course did not get here alone, and have had so much help and support from friends and family along the way. So while I'm here let me not forget to thank those early supporters, AND our current customers, regulars, and others who support us every day by shopping local.

Open Mic (Poetry) Night is back tomorrow night! We've got extra chairs lined up since the last few have been standing room only. If your Friday night plans are still up in the air we'd love to see you at 6 PM to celebrate the local artists and creatives in our area!

The August Book & Bottle Monthly selections are here! It's rare they both make it to the shop on the day. Stop by to grab your boxes if you're subscribed.

Our monthly book club is always accepting new members and you do not have to buy the book through us to join us on the last Tuesday of the month to talk about the read and try the paired wine.

🥁 🥁 🥁 Our Grab & Go menu is officially live!!

We have been talking about taking this step for what feels like forever and we are excited to finally fill you in.

We are now offering "Grab & Go" versions of some of your favorite menu items so you can still get snacks and treats when our kitchen is closed.

This menu is made up of pre-packaged cold versions of favorites and seasonal options. It will have regular hours (starting with Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon to 4 PM). We will also use this menu whenever our kitchen needs to be closed - like coming up when most of our staff will be at Goblincon August 22nd.

Our kitchen will still be serving hot food regularly from 4 to 8 PM on weekdays and all day on the weekends!

We will post to our stories whenever the Grab & Go menu is active so you can know what to expect when making plans to visit us.

We also DO take pre orders, and are working on getting an online ordering system up so you can plan ahead for a quick lunch.
