Crisp and fresh-sweet Esteem green seedless grapes and richly flavored Scarlett Royal red seedless grapes - for the snacking win!
September will be an outstanding month to enjoy peak season grapes from California.
Keep your grapes refrigerated and rinse them in cold water just before eating. Select grapes in packs that are free from wetness at the bottom or smashed and cracked berries. Look for healthy, green stems a sign of freshness with most varieties.

Late summer Pluots - what a flavorful, juicy-sweet treat. Pluots have plum and apricot parentage and come in red, black, mottled/speckled, and green/gold varieties.

TIPS:
Select Pluots that are firm to semi-firm and are free punctures.
Avoid Pluots that are over-soft or puffy.
Pluots are ready to eat when you buy them. The fruit doesn’t really ripen or sweet after harvest. I’ll often let the fruit warm up at room temperature for a day or two since I like a semi-soft texture.
A powdery white coating on the fruit is called “bloom.” Bloom naturally occurring wax that forms on the fruit in the orchard. It wipes off easily and creates a shine on the skin. I see it as a sign of freshness!

70+ bags in here for home delivery and then a volunteer delivery driver takes about 40 and the rest are picked up at the Aberdeen Sunday Market! This is what feeding Grays Harbor all the way to Seattle looks like! Its a lot of work but its good knowing we are getting nutritious food to so many people!
Our fundraiser is still going to help us turn an aspect of the farm to education and helping us feed more people!
We take Venmo, PayPal and Gofundme link in bio!
