Another weekend has come and gone, but oh what a weekend it was! We want to thank Independence II for hosting us last weekend for a day filled with some gorgeous visibility and a dash of advanced open water certifications. In a first for the shop we combined the fun of Lake Hydra Scuba with the excitement of Jersey diving into one Advanced open water class. Huge congratulations to Aiden Goodson and Kevin Gragg for completing the gauntlet and becoming Advanced open water divers! Mike Golden and Pat McLaughlin threw one exciting class.

Did we catch Mike off guard with this photo? Yes, yes we did. Is Pat second guessing his life choices? Maybe, but we all had a blast!

Another weeknd down with some less than perfect weather, but non the less Instructor Mike G went out to Lake Hydra Scuba with some students for certification dives! All went well for Kyle and Jawad, a warm congratulations to them on passing their certification dives with flying colors! Kyle was joined by his lovely girlfriend Sabrina, who is also a past Underwater World certified diver.

It’s finally outdoor pool season! Last weekend we had a full class of new open water students (Kromer didn’t send us any pictures), and last night was another full pool with three different specialty classes taking advantage of the late June sunsets. Don’t be filled with regret come August, call Nancy at the shop now to find out which classes let you go on the water slide.
