Just wanted to let everyone know we made the finial final final decision to close. We're so sad to be going but it's what is best for the care of our loved ones and ourselves.

We will miss you all so much. I've got 99.9% of the catalog done and we're working on final pricing for selling my inlay designs. I'll put a note out here when I'm done and ready to send the information to those that may be seriously interested in buying my Inlay patterns. At this time my plan is to sell as complete set, not individually but you never know with me. Of course with the military the ones that need be to licensed, you will need to file for your own, none of the licenses are transferable.

Thank you all for so many wonderful year together and your kind words about my designs.

We will also have some Spectraply solid color panels for anyone within driving distance that may be interested. DM me if interested in next few days as I will be listing on FB Market

I will also be listing my Epilog mini (upgraded to 40w) and the rotary tool on Facebook Market. I used to run two of them but when we moved to Ga we robbed a part off one in an emergency and kinda kept doing that with probably 4 parts. I also have a bunch of spare parts. I'll be including the other Epilog to use for parts or if you want to spend probably a couple hundred and a new tube you can have a second printer. It is in back of storage unit so you'll have to dig it out. If interested, DM me in the next few days before I list on FB Market. No shipping though things will have to be picked up.

Just wanted to give you all an update.

It's been a painstaking decision but we have decided after over twenty years that we are going to indeed close Wood-N-Whimsies.

We've enjoyed the years we built out little business and all the things we learned along the way.

I loved coming up with new designs for inlays, although, at times blanks were flying across the shop. The amount of time and tweaking it took me to create each design and make it work on a small blank was exhausting but always rewarding in the end. Not all designs made it to the site but there was more success than failure!

I am currently working on putting together a catalogue of all my designs for those that may be interested in purchasing. I believe there are over 300. At this time it will be a complete sale of all designs. We won't be selling by the piece but you never know. I've got a few ideas floating around in my head. That is all the details we have worked out for now. The site will most likely become inactive mid February so updates will be through Facebook. Once we figure it all out we list the details here.

PLEASE NOTE: THINGS HAVE TAKEN A FEW UNEXPECTED TURNS. I'M CURRENTLY FULL TIME CARETAKER OF MY MOM WHO WILL BE LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN WHILE I'M IN A BOOT FOR AN ACHILLES INJURY.

TIM WILL BE HAVING TWO MORE SURGERIES IN THE UPCOMING MONTHS.

In between doing refunds for fake orders at least I got some painting done. My site host is great and I'm hoping we are finally done with it!

Imagine how upsetting it is to have to sit there and do over 40 refunds because you were one of the unlucky business that these POS thieves decided to use to do their "carding" Something new I've learned. They steal a bunch of credit card numbers (fortunately, not from me) then robot $10-$15 charges to see if the cards work before they do the big damage to the poor consumer. I feel bad for the 1000s and 1000s of folks involved. But boy I thought I had a good day for a few minutes! On the bright side....I do have pretty high security so out of well over 2000 only 40 got through. My host company was able to block groups of IPs as I was reporting to them to stop even more but they change every couple of minutes. I now have to add a CAPTCHA layer to my site that unfortunately customers are going to have to use when placing orders.
Why can't people use their skills for good? I can't imagine how much they get away with when dealing with automated companies who don't sit there and process their orders so it's not noticed for who knows how long. It's getting to the point where is it even worth it to be a small business any more?

Seriously....anyone hiring for work from home??? I've got a pretty good resume!
