I’m also known as “YaYa” to 8 of the sweetest faces you ever did see. When I’m not spending time with my hubby or the grands, you will find me in the garage painting furniture. For as long as I can remember I have loved buying furniture and giving it new life. The chances of seeing an old chair in Goodwill and it not ending up in my car are slim to none! I share my finished projects here in hopes of them finding a new forever home. My style is vintage, rustic, shabby chic.. it is not for everyone, but that is what makes the world go around I suppose. We’re officially in the planning, building, collecting, measuring, sampling, rearranging-and-changing-our-minds stages… which means KOFFEEHAUS is starting to come to life.

And we thought you might like a peek at the vibe.

Vintage glassware. Old silver. Beautiful wallpaper. European café details. Really, really good coffee. Gorgeous ingredients. A little bit collected, a little bit unexpected, and absolutely nothing cookie-cutter.

We’re building KOFFEEHAUS slowly and intentionally — finding pieces we love and creating the kind of place we would want to spend an afternoon.

There’s still plenty of work ahead, but she's beginning to show us who she is.

I bought this buffet 5-6 years ago. I had every intention of revamping it BUT if truth be told.. I get way more excited about revamping other peoples furniture than I do my own! HOWEVER, a couple of nights ago, I got excited about my ugly buffet.
