I haven't yet reviewed it, but I know one of the Penn State authors and highly respect him as one of the few researchers that takes the time to let me know when I've gotten something wrong. I'm pretty sure it's solid:

There are multiple things taking place on the va**ng front.

The CTP (FDA To***co) has authorized a fruit-flavored v**e (made by Glas, for you Pound Cake fans), albiet one that needs to BT pair to an app on your phone that has verified your age, in order to function.

They have also announced that any product with a filed PMTA that meets the minimum requirements (including data on youth use for non-to***co flavors) will not be enforced against.

Also, multiple mainstream media sources claim the FDA Chief is going to be fired, in part for overriding FDA scientists' approval of flavored v**es.

FYI, the flavor ban bill did not pass out of committee and is dead. It will now have to be re-introduced next session/year with a GOP senate that will be even more reluctant to pass it. Two other bills; increased fines for selling to minors and v***r product licensure did pass out of committee for a floor vote that has to happen today, or tomorrow for them to become law.
