So here’s what you need to know because we are officially in the “holy crap, we’re actually moving” phase. 😂

👚 #1 — We are taking a HIATUS from buying clothes.

Definitely for this weekend. Possibly for the entire remaining 9 days in Houma.

PLEASE DO NOT PANIC. 😂 This does NOT mean we aren’t buying clothes anymore. It does NOT mean we won’t take your stuff in Thibodaux. It simply means I literally have NOWHERE ELSE TO PUT IT RIGHT NOW.

We have an insane amount of clothing inventory between Houma, Thibodaux, and storage, and at some point I have to say, “Ma’am, there is physically no more room.” 😂

And please, please, PLEASE be nice to my employees about it. ❤️ They didn’t make the decision — I did. If you need to be mad at somebody, be mad at me. I can take it. 😂

🧸 #2 — WE ARE STILL BUYING TOYS, GEAR & EQUIPMENT!

I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s everywhere right now.

Postpartum depression. Postpartum care. Women struggling. Families hurting. Stories that are uncomfortable and heartbreaking.

And I keep coming back to these pictures.

These are pictures of me in the middle of postpartum depression.

Smiling. Holding my babies. Going places. Making memories. Looking completely fine.

I wasn’t.

I went through it twice. There was so much I didn’t understand: misdiagnosis, medication, stigma, whispers, embarrassment, and the fear that admitting I was struggling somehow made me a bad mom.

It didn’t.

You can love your babies more than anything and still be drowning.

PPD doesn’t always “look” like anything. Sometimes it looks exactly like these pictures.

So if you are struggling, please ask for help. Please tell someone. Please keep talking until someone listens. Speak to your doctor. Speak to someone you trust. Don’t sit with it alone.

And if you don’t know where to start, my DMs are a safe place. No judgment. No embarrassment. No explanation needed. ❤️

Raising good humans just feels good. ❤️

No complaints. No eye rolls. No huffs. Just “yes sir” and “yes ma’am” because they genuinely want to help. They want to be part of watching our family business grow, working alongside Mom and Dad, and serving the community that has supported us for so many years.

They don’t have to be excited about hauling, sorting, cleaning, organizing, building and all the chaos that comes with this season… but they are. And that means more to me than they’ll probably understand right now.

They make me so incredibly proud to be their Mom. 🥹❤️

This business may have their names all over it, but watching the little humans behind those names grow into kind, hardworking, helpful people? That’s the part I’m most proud of.

Ya know, I don’t usually get overly emotional about celebrity anything. Deaths, weddings, divorces… I don’t know these people from Adam.

But her story hits close. And hard.

I’ve struggled. I had PPD. I’ve been misdiagnosed. I’ve been put on medications that made things FAR worse and very, very scary.

I survived.

And I also didn’t have millions of strangers watching, judging, commenting and picking apart every ugly part of it from behind a keyboard.

It’s probably part of why I delete people. Block people. Shut people out. And why, sometimes, I’m very protective of what parts of myself I let people have access to.

It’s also part of why I shared my ugly from the other night with my brush and Parker.

Because it wasn’t even Parker.

It was exhaustion. Overwhelm. Stress. Too much for too long and the person I love more than anything happened to be standing there when it spilled over.

Sometimes people are fighting something much bigger than the moment you’re watching.

I was lucky enough to make it through some really dark, scary seasons of my own life. Not everyone does.

And if you’re one of our customers, friends, moms, dads — whoever — and you ever find yourself feeling like you’re drowning, spiraling, scared of your own thoughts, or like you just cannot carry it anymore… please reach out.

Reach out to somebody you trust. Reach out to your doctor. Hell, reach out to me.

You do not have to make it sound pretty or explain it perfectly. You can literally say, “I’m not okay and I need somebody right now.”

Please don’t suffer quietly because you’re worried about being judged, embarrassed, dramatic, or a burden.

There are people who would much rather sit with you through the ugly than lose you to it. ❤️

May she finally be at rest and at peace. And may her daughter one day understand just how much her mom suffered, how hard she fought, and how deeply she loved her through all of it. ❤️

Last week, a family came in shopping for a new baby, and the two big sisters made themselves right at home in the toy section.

One of them hops on a bike and starts cruising.

Now y’all know me…. normally I’m already headed that way with my best retail-mom voice like, “Babes, we’re not riding the toys in the store.” 😂

But before I could get there, this little tiny outlaw came FLYING around the corner, one leg kicked up, leaning into the turn like she pays rent here, singing:

🎶 “THEY SEE ME ROLLLINNNN… THEY HATINNNN…” 🎶

Ma’am.

I turned my ass right back around. 😂

Because if your kid has that level of comedic timing and confidence, I’m not ruining the moment.

Safety policy: temporarily revoked.
Parenting: 10/10.
