This week’s photos from around the shop! Cello bows, violas, and Gizmo. Who would’ve guessed 😂
The first photo holds a very special memory with me. This shelf holds special items from my grandparents. The two violins on either side were hand painted and well as the box in the middle. The little fake violin was one of the first memories I have of a violin. I’ll tell you about that another time.

We have two spots (11am & noon) open on Sundays for those that want to have a weekend appointment! Those should be available on our Appointments tab on our website. These should be for trial appointments only.

We upper string players always need of Violin and Viola. Technically that’s two similar instruments. Just thinking out loud. Haha

Here’s a little bts of the new layout of the shop. It’s still a small work in progress, but really loving it so far! Have to put up some new art, which we might open up to local artists every six months to showcase more local talent! We kind of are an art gallery, if you think about it.

There are some fiddles you just can’t stop looking at. There are some fiddles you can’t stop playing. Thankfully this one is both. One of the best sounding violins I’ve had the opportunity to play on. A French violin modeled after Guadagnini.
An antique violin that looks almost new! If you’re interested, book your appointment online!

Octagonal violin bows made in Germany, England, and France. These bows are harder to travel with given their mountings but they play extremely well. One brings out the richest sound I’ve heard from a bow.
Which bow do you think you’d like best?

We love a one piece back on any French or Italian instrument. These are both more blonde than the pictures. The violins are what we’d consider professional level instruments at an attainable price!
