A pastor friend of mine posted.

Acts 8:15 who, when they had come down, prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit. 16 For as yet He had fallen upon none of them. They had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Maranatha!

Many new converts remain weak, many fall into sin, and many backslide entirely. As you pray for the Church, its growth in holiness and devotion to God, pray especially for the young converts. Many stand alone, surrounded by temptation. Many have no teaching on the Spirit in them and the power of God to establish them. It is sin against the Lord to stop praying for others. Ask for grace to fill the role of intercessor with joy and give our life to bring down the blessings of heaven.

Abba, Father, be with those young converts who have little knowledge of Your Word. Fill them with the Holy Spirit. May they learn to delight in the Scriptures. In Jesus name, amen, amen, amen.

Romans 8:27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Maranatha!

What a difference it would make in the life of many of God's children if we realized this! What hope this gives us! Where and how does the Spirit pray for the saints? In the heart which does not know what to pray He secretly and effectually prays what is in harmony with the will of God. This of course implies that we trust Him to do His work in us and that we spend time with God even when we do not know what to pray.

Abba, Father, Search my heart, Lord and cleanse my heart and give me understanding through the Holy Spirit. May this Word give new light to my faith: "I believe in the Holy Spirit." In Christ I pray, amen, amen, amen.

1 Corinthians 2:6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory. Maranatha

When you are seeking the wisdom of God, Proverbs tells us: "if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” True wisdom of God comes from His Word. We must be resolute in studying the Word of God and in discovering the Truth it contains. Every time we read the Word of God, we'll discover treasure—and the more we read, the more treasure we'll gain. Don't miss out on the treasure God has hidden for you in His Word.

Abba Father, help me to be diligent in my search for wisdom from You. Help me to spend more time studying Your Word and applying it to my life. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen amen.
